Full disclosure: I have a soft spot for anything sweet that resembles dessert. I can’t help myself. I think I’m a little addicted to sugar. When I came across Anita’s Crafty Creations etsy shop my mouth instantly began salivating. Every item that I saw looked delicious. There are cupcakes, tarts and even deliciously scented lip balms. Most items are vegan and every item is handmade. This is a dessert lovers 100% calorie free dream come true.
All of the items pictured above are available in Anita’s shop. Anita obvisiously knows that her products are excellent because she has constant reminders all over her shop not to eat your purchases.
It’s been a while since I’ve video blogged. Today I got a surprise in the mail from Lee Denim. I made a quick vlog about them. I’ll give you more details later.
Now that it’s summer I have to make a few life adjustments. It feels odd going from a busy schedule to unlimited leisure time. The days seem to have less direction and I find it harder to create when I’m not racing the clock. You would think I would get more done now that I don’t have to go to my 9-5.
Web surfing and video games are my choice time wasters. I am finding that retro gaming (the wii lets you download original Nintendo games) is currently feeding my creative side. That old school feel is so uncomplicated. A little rough around the edges and it feels less forced. I’ve created a few badges and t-shirts that revovle around retro gaming. I’m listing them in the morning.
I recently had the pleasure of doing a review of Frito Lay’s SmartFood. They’re healthy snacks made for active women. Unfortunately I won’t be giving away any samples BUT you can use the $100 visa gift card that’s up for grabs to buy some for yourself. Check it out here.
Wow! So this is a week over due but last week was outta control. Last Tuesday night I went to the No Doubt concert with some friends (did I mention for free). We got stuck in terrible traffic while the sky opened up. I did not get to see any of Paramore’s opening act. To show how bad of a night it was for a concert the entire parking lot was flooded. I learned a very valuable lesson about out door concerts: WEAR SNEAKERS AND SHORTS. My gladiators were not having a good time in all that mud and water. I guess that’s what I get for thinking I’m cute :).
The upside was that it was such an awesome show. By the time we got there we stood for maybe 10 mins and No Doubt came on. I stood in the mud just to rock out with one of my favorite teenhood bands. Check out a few pictures below.
