Spring has sprung. The flowers are sprouting and the pollen is unleashed. As the mercury continues to rise in Florida I try to scout out cool casual clothing that will save me from melting. Recently on my radar are shirt dresses.
Wearing and styling a shirt dress is a breeze with simple heels and accessories. No over the top hair dos or makeup needed to pull it off which makes in perfect for the Florida sun.
It's versatile enough to wear around town while running errands and if I fancy a dip in the pool I'm only a few buttons away from being bikini ready.

As any fashionista would attest to pastels are always hot for Spring. The shift in weather after a harsh winter invokes feelings of softness and feminity. It's no wonder that pastels and florals are always popular during the Spring months.
I'm personally not a huge fan of pastels. I like bolder colors but my interest has been peeked by Orly's Sweet Color Collection. They have 6 nail colors perfectly suited for Spring. My favorites of the bunch are lollipop (lavender), lemonade (yellow) and gumdrop (aqua). The colors would add a delicious pop of color to your outfits (am I the only one that has not revamped my wardrobe for the warm weather?).

I guess Style Star has been collecting dust for the past few weeks and I apologize. Things are hectic. I've been consumed with Antisparkle business but most importantly I've been searching for a house. It is time we need more space.
The by product of owning a home based business is the over flow of equipment, supplies and materials. Literally every closet of my tiny apt is filled to the brim. So hopefully in a day or two I'll know if our offer on a gorgeous little house has been accepted. Until then we hold our breath.
Friday night myself and the men that I love so dearly went to see Alice in Wonderland at the drive inn (yes they still have those). I know the reviews are mixed but I really enjoyed it. Honestly I was expecting the a live action movie based on the original Alice cartoon. I wasn't even aware that there was a sequel to the first book (which I haven't read). So my task for the next week is to pick up a copy of Alice in Wonderland at the library. Reading is FUN-damental! Maybe we can start an online book club for those who haven't read them either. (:
